Helping Sport Parents
Support Their Young Athletes
A research-informed course for sport parents that can be completed in under 60 minutes — with lessons that last a lifetime.
A positive youth sport experience isn't an add-on — it's the foundation. Coaches receive training to help young athletes develop skills, build confidence, and most importantly enjoy their sport.
But coaches are only one part of the youth sport environment. Parents are an essential pillar of support too.
The way parents support their child - before games, on the sidelines, and after competitions - can have a powerful impact on a young athlete’s confidence, motivation, and long-term enjoyment of sport.
That’s why I have created the Super-P Approach, a short, research-informed course designed specifically for sport parents.
Created by sport psychologist Dr Jen Harris, the course helps parents understand their role in the coach–athlete–parent triangle and how to support their child in a way that encourages effort, learning, and enjoyment.
The course can be completed in under 60 minutes, but the insights and strategies can support your child throughout their entire sporting journey.
As part of this partnership with your club parents receive exclusive access to Super-P for free (normally £80)
